By using LinkedCulture, the LinkedCulture search interfaces, or LinkedCulture social media publishing tools, you agree to use them for lawful, educational, research, and cultural heritage purposes.

LinkedCulture aggregates and indexes public cultural heritage metadata and images from museums and open collections. Collection records remain under the stewardship of their source institutions, and canonical records should be checked at the linked museum pages.

Many LinkedCulture videos and search examples use CC0 or open-access museum materials. Museum resources remain covered by the licenses and rights statements supplied by their institutions.

LinkedCulture may use AI-assisted scripting, descriptions, captions, and narration to turn public museum records into short educational videos. AI-generated material can contain errors, so it should not replace the museum's authoritative record.

LinkedCulture publishes educational short-form videos to services such as TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram. Publishing through a platform API requires authorization from the relevant account holder and is subject to that platform's policies, review requirements, and rate limits.

For TikTok Content Posting API flows, LinkedCulture displays the target creator account, the selected video, editable caption text, available privacy settings, interaction controls, commercial-content choices, and the consent required before sending content to TikTok.

LinkedCulture is provided as-is. The project aims to improve cross-collection discovery, but it does not guarantee completeness, accuracy, uninterrupted availability, or fitness for any particular use.
